so sue me. I know i'm withdrawing massively. Can you blame me?
Just saw the Phillie hand specialist today. WHAT A TRIP... four hours either way on public transportation.
But he knew right off what my problem is. I am a TEXTBOOK case of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Musculoskeletal/Hypermobile type. Genetic heredetary Collagen defect. Means my joints are fragile, and painful, and FLEXIBLE! But pain doesnt show up in xray or EMG. Also somewhat in my skin, in why i bruise and burn so ridiculously easy, and why earrings tore my ears. Lovely.
Best yet? THere's no treatment for it. He estimates that by te time I'm 40, my ligamenst will stiffen to where they're normal and not painful, but nothign to do now! Nothing but painkillers and heat and ice.
